The property is gated and has security 24hrs a day. The beach is steps away from the pool. There are 3 pools and one is a heated pool with swim up bar. The bar offers a good drink menu and food options with happy hour prices throughout the day. The restaurant on site has great food. Right outside the gate of the resort there are a couple restaurants and bars with live music. All within walking distance.
